Cancer Registry Data Linkage of Electronic Health Record Data From ASCO’s CancerLinQ: Evaluation of Advantages, Limitations, and Lessons Learned

This study linked cancer registry data with electronic health record data from ASCO's CancerLinQ to assess the feasibility and value of combining these data sources for research and quality improvement. By combining these data sets, researchers gained a more complete picture of patient care, identifying both strengths and limitations of each data source, ultimately informing the development of a learning health system in oncology.
