    Dr. Marissa Bird is a Learning Heath System Scientist at the Institute for Better Health, Trillium Health Partners, an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation at the University of Toronto, and a Registered Nurse. Dr. Bird studies innovation and sustainability in Learning Health Systems and is co-founder of the Learning Health Hub.

    Dr. Shelley Vanderhout is a Scientist in Learning Health Systems at Trillium Health Partners’ Institute for Better Health, an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation at the University of Toronto, and a co-founder of the Learning Health Hub. Her program of research engages patient, caregiver, and community partners to understand how they can be involved in co-design, priority setting, and knowledge translation in learning health systems.

    Dr. Carly Whitmore is a researcher and educator in the School of Nursing at McMaster University, a Collaborator Scientist in the INTREPID Lab at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health, and a Registered Nurse. Dr. Whitmore studies health system integration, implementation, and evaluation and is a co-founder of the Learning Health Hub.
