Building the learning health system: Describing an organizational infrastructure to support continuous learning

In this report by Kraft and colleagues, organizational-level interventions implemented at an academic health center to transition toward a learning health system are described. Despite challenges posed by complex organizational structures, the interventions led to improved system-level performance across various domains, offering valuable insights for health systems aiming to implement similar changes. The use of an evidence-based framework proved instrumental in developing the necessary structures and processes to support the functions of a learning health system.
